BK7(Schott)and K9(CDGM) is a widely used optical glass material, mainly used in the visible spectrum and near infrared, which has a very high refractive index uniformity and a clear, almost colorless appearance. Its applications cover industrial, medical, high-precision optics, lasers and almost all other visible optics-related products. BK7 optical windows are used to protect sensors and other electronic instruments from environmental influences.BK7 windows are made of crystal ingots that have been cut, ground and polished. According to different application needs, we can process BK7 Windows to different precision to achieve the perfect balance between price and quality requirements.

BK7 glass has a density of 2.51 g/cm3 and a Knoop hardness of 610. Its coefficient of expansion is approximately 7.1 x 10-6 K in the -30 °C to +70 °C range and 8.3 x10-6/K in the temperature range +20 °C to +300 °C.
