.High Pressure Sapphire NMR Tube
Introductions :
There are two different methods of sapphire growth we mainly use
1. Kyropolis method (KY) -The Kyropolis method is used to produce large sapphire ingots, most typically cylindrical. Ingot diameters in the growing state can reach 70 to 200 mm and heights up to 250 mm. KY Sapphire usually have very high optical quality and can be cut into wafers of any crystal orientation. Currently we are outsourcing KY sapphire(eg.1) from domestic supplier instead of grown by ourselves.
2. Stepanov method(EFG)
EFG method makes it possible to grow crystals of complicated shape. It allow us to produce the sapphire tubes as long as the machine(eg.2) can, also, the grown sapphire is transparent ,but the tolerance can’t be very tight(best as ±0.15mm for diameter.)
Crystals grown by this method can have different crystallographic orientations (A, R, random) and are mainly used for industrial & mechanical applications, where good optical qualities are not important.
.Grown sapphire tubes, not die-casting from Al2O3 powder, non-mechanical processed. 100% gas tightness, no pores
.Resistance to high temperatures up to 2000°C
.Resistance to high pressures - up to 500 bar(50Mpa)
.Resistance to most aggressive chemicals
.High Purity 99,995%-No chemical reaction with the sample
.Non-magnetic- Won’t affect the running of the precision instruments.
1. High Pressure Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) -Pressure Above 500Bar(50Mpa)
2. Sapphire thermocouple protection tubes can be used in environments where emery ceramic tubes do not meet stability requirements. It can be used for temperature measurement in heavy oil combustion reactors, hydrogen production, glass boxes, blast furnaces, non-ji acids (mineral acids), and metallurgical processes.
3. Plasma Research and Applications.
4. High Pressure Reaction Kettles.
