Today, we are going to show you our successful cooperation story with our customer-“O******r Technologies”- Requested Sapphire Washer/ Sapphire Bearing/ Sapphire Isolator.
When Kris (Development Engineer) came to find our sales William, He asked if we have any stocked sapphire washer close to the size he wanted(OD9xID5x1.5), while he wants to use this sapphire washer as an electrically isolated pathway between copper interfaces. But unfortunately, we don’t have similar size as requested，In most case we only produce the products as ordered, but we will prepare spare parts in case of transportation damage.
After a long time communication, Kris have learned our processing capabilities and some characteristics of sapphire. Also we offered Kris’s opportunity to do some basic testing and cognition of our sapphire materials and products by providing samples. After two months of communication and collaboration, Kris’s decided to change the original design and increase the application of sapphire in the product, so as to use the sapphire special-shaped washers and sapphire round washers we provide in order to obtain better insulation properties.
