.Introduction:
The Synthetic sapphire rods we offer are mainly sapphire crystals with two different production methods:
. KY Method Sapphire, commonly known as Kyropoulos method Sappihre, it is currently the most widely used sapphire growth method in china, mainly used in LED substrates, optical components production, because of its huge production, so the price can be reduced. The sapphire rod we produce, when the length is below 300mm, usually uses KY sapphire, through end polishing or cylindrical polishing can be used as a light guide or cylindrical mirror, in addition to being widely used in sapphire rotor, sapphire plunger and other uses.
.EFG sapphire, also known as Stepanov method sapphire, is a special crystal grown method that shapes sapphire crystals into plates, tubes or rods during the growth of crystals through a specific crystal grown device. The EFG method can produce large-size sapphire products, and the crystal grown are transparent, but for surface quality polishing or higher requirements, it also needs to be achieved by grinding and polishing mechanical processing. The sapphire rod of the EFG method can usually be applied to optical fiber, light guide and other uses.
